LongHorn Steakhouse
About This Spot
Walking into LongHorn Steakhouse in Concord, you’re greeted by a warmly lit dining room that hints at both tradition and heartfelt hospitality. The subtle, authentic western decor — from rustic wood accents to thoughtful nods like the painting of Bill Pickett — sets a relaxing yet inviting tone. It’s the kind of place where the pacing honors both the bustle of a bar & grill and the comfort of a family restaurant, creating a space where conversations flow easily and moments linger longer than expected.
The atmosphere balances a steady hum of activity with cozy corners and soft booths that beckon guests to settle in and savor not just a meal, but an experience. There’s an earnestness here, from servers attentive enough to make you feel genuinely cared for, to the managerial presence that quietly ensures every detail falls into place — even when life happens in the kitchen just steps away. It’s this blend of lively energy and grounded calm that makes the restaurant feel familiar and special at once.
When it comes to the menu, it’s less about a laundry list of options and more about sharing plates that connect you to a classic American steakhouse spirit. Rich, thoughtfully prepared steaks—like the generous 22-ounce Longhorn Special ribeye—come paired with comforting sides and unexpected touches, such as Mac & Cheese infused with applewood smoked bacon or the crisp zing of a Texas Margarita that refreshes as much as it relaxes. These offerings encourage moments of sharing, savoring, and slow appreciation, whether you’re unwinding after a long day or gathering with friends and family on a weekend.
Overall, LongHorn here doesn’t rush you. It invites you to soak in the steady rhythm of familiar tastes and good company, framed by a space that feels both warmly anchored in tradition and alive with friendly human moments. It’s the kind of spot where you leave carrying a bit of that easy-going spirit, as well as a satisfied appetite ready for your next visit.

We had a great experience here. I like the low light setting and authentic western atmosphere. Seeing a painting of Bill Pickett warmed my heart. The portions left us satisfied and full. Our steaks were perfectly medium, and everything tasted fine ...except the asparagus, it needed something. All the same, a great place to eat as far as I can tell. Thanks, Octavia and crew!

I would like to start by saying Phenomenal service. I forgot to ask the name of our server, but he is the best one. We went to the Concord location as we were tired and hungry and tired. The server didn't disappoint us and neither did the food. The food was amazing, well-portioned, and fairly priced. This is my 2nd time going to longhorn and I had a great experience.

Average longhorn with good food, good atmosphere and fairly good service. Like many of them, they always seem to make at least one mistake on the order. The manager is on top of the game and makes it right. This is a good Place and food quality is consistent.

Food is consistently good. Service is consistently good. Booths are comfy. But like others have mentioned the dish pit is freaking loud!!! First time I was seated by the kitchen to notice the banging and clanging of dishes being washed. It sounded like they were shooting hoops into the sink with pots and pans lol.

We had dinner here last night. Our waiter Joe L. was amazing!!! He was extremely busy and nonetheless made our experience fantastic. He was attentive and there to make sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. Thank you Joe for taking care of us so well. Much appreciated!!!

My recent dining experience at Longhorn Steakhouse in Concord, New Hampshire, had its highs and lows. The restaurant exudes an upscale charm, with warm lighting, sleek wooden accents, and a refined atmosphere that feels ideal for a special night out. It’s a notch above casual chains like Texas Roadhouse, but the prices reflect that—steaks start at $23, and the menu, especially the alcoholic drinks, leans expensive. Cocktails are well-made but carry a hefty price tag, so budget accordingly. We specifically asked the host for a table away from the bar’s noise, hoping for a peaceful meal. Disappointingly, the host seated us right next to the kitchen, a bustling hub of clanging dishes and staff rushing in and out. To our dismay, we saw empty booths in a quiet, cozy section that would’ve been perfect, but the host denied us those, likely prioritizing convenience for the staff. It was a frustrating misstep for such an upscale spot. Thankfully, the service redeemed the experience. The waitstaff was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our meal enjoyable. Our food arrived swiftly, too. The chicken tenders were exceptional, perfectly crispy with juicy, well-seasoned meat that stole the show. The chop steak was just okay, not quite worth its cost. The complimentary bread was decent but couldn’t compare to Texas Roadhouse’s iconic rolls and butter. Despite the host’s poor seating choice, Longhorn’s upscale vibe, stellar service, and dishes like those tenders make it a worthwhile destination for a treat. It’s not a budget-friendly spot, especially with those pricey drinks, but the quality keeps it appealing. Just cross your fingers for a better table to fully savor the experience.

This place is incredible! Hands down the best steak I've ever had. The fact that they ask you if you would like to cut into your steak to be sure it's cooked to your liking is crazy new to me. Yes, it seems a little expensive, but the meal that follows will all make sense in the end.

Over all it was ok. Food was little spicy for my kid. My steak cooked great. I had Texas tea which I don’t recommend it.
